KORENIX RS 232 to RS 422 RS 485 isolated Converter
Industrial RS-232 to RS-422/485 Isolated Rail Converter
- Automatic RS-232 to RS-422/485 converter
- Automatic internal RS-422/485 data control
- 3000 VDC isolation protection
- Transient suppression on RS-422/485 signal lines
- Speed up to 115.2 kbps
The standard RS-232 protocol has been widely used in most of industrial computer systems for serial port communication. However, it has its limitations in transmission speed, range, and networking capabilities. The RS-422 and RS-485 standard protocols, on the other hand, overcome the limitations mentioned above by utilizing different voltage lines for data and control signals.
AutoPro
JetCon 2101i has the built-in "AutoPro" function, which can adjust JetCon's baud rate and data format for different devices in a RS-485 network. Most RS-232 to RS-485 converters in the market use DIP switch to select baud rate and data format, but "AutoPro" allows JetCon to be autoconfigured to the same baud rate and data format in the entire RS-485 network.
